DOVER - Mrs. Saroja Narayan Rao passed away June 20, 2012, in Dover, Del. She brought grace, beauty, love and joy into the lives of friends and family. She was born on May 1, 1931, in Mysore, India. She was an award-winning author and published several novels, essays and short stories both for adults and children in Kannada. We are grateful that she shared her life with us. She was a devoted wife to her late husband Mr. T.S. Narayan Rao, IAS, a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her three daughters; a son; a daughter-in-law; three grandsons; and one granddaughter. Memorial services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Torbert Funeral Chapels, 1145 E.
