MARYDEL - Samantha Courtney Potter passed away suddenly on Feb. 20, 2016. Sam was born on Sep. 23, 1992, in Newark. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Linda Potter; and cousin, Michael Cline. Samantha is survived by her loving parents, Michael and Sandra Potter; siblings, Joshua, Nicholas, and Abygaile; grandparents, Dennis and Sandy Potter, and James and Connie Maslin; cousins, Aiden and Carlee; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; and a very large circle of friends. A viewing will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, Delaware 19934. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, at Pippin Funeral Home, at 3:00 pm. Friends may gather one hour prior. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made to 'CRHS Potter Scholarship', an annual scholarship set up in her honor called The Samantha Potter Theatre Arts Scholarship Fund.
