A 19-year-old Salisbury man was convicted of first-degree burglary and related charges on Sept. 30, according to the State’s Attorney’s Office.

A Wicomico County jury also convicted Malik Dajour Moore of two counts of armed robbery, two counts of false imprisonment, conspiracy first-degree burglary, two counts of conspiracy armed robbery, two counts of theft of $1,000 to $10,000 and theft under $1,000, according to State’s Attorney Matthew Maciarello.

The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and sentencing is forthcoming.

Maciarello said in the early hours of April 23, Moore and his accomplices, Darrell Dixon, 19, and Nahmir Tareek Bundy, 16,  were on bicycles, in the Virginia Avenue area.

They saw a .22 caliber rifle in an unlocked truck toolbox, stole it and checked cars for valuables on Ridge Road, Maciarello said.

While in the driveway of one of the residences, they saw X-Box video games through the window of a home, entered through a side window and stuffed backpacks full of items, the state’s attorney said.

Two of the occupants were accosted in their beds at gunpoint by one of the men.  One of the victims was held by Bundy at gunpoint on a living room sofa while the other men continued to fill three backpacks with property, Maciarello said.

The Salisbury Police Department had at least two officers working on the case. They followed leads through the morning.  By sunrise on April 23, leads led to search warrants being executed on 214 Delaware Avenue, the state’s attorney said.

Officers found Bundy in the  basement in possession of several of the items stolen. Dixon and Moore were seen outside.

Dixon pleaded guilty to conspiracy home invasion, first-degree assault and firearm use during a crime of violence on Sept. 1, Maciarello said.

Bundy pleaded guilty to first-degree burglary, two counts of armed robbery  and use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence on Sept. 3. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct.  15.  Dixon is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 2, Maciarello said.

Bundy will be sentenced as an adult, he said.
