Lincoln - Ruth E. "Rudy" Segletes was called home to be with the Lord, on Sunday May 3, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Rudy was born, July 13, 1945, in Bluefield, Va., to the late, Orba & Helen(Johnson) Presley. She will be truly missed, but we all take comfort in how peaceful and happy she looked after she passed; letting us know she is happy. She loved being outdoors working in the yard, and would do that all day until the sun went down. She enjoyed fishing, and spending time with her family whom she loved dearly; and in return was loved by them just as much. She was always there for everyone, and would do anything for them without wanting or asking for anything in return. Rudy truly had a heart of gold, and was beautiful inside and out. She always expressed how proud she was of her three grandchildren, daughter, and son-in-law. In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her loving husband, of 35 years, Robert Segletes; her sister, Bessie Ann Presley; and two brothers, Thomas & Orba "Bubby" Presley. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle(Minker) Torbert, & husband Keith, of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Kyle, Logan, & Erica Torbert, all of Greenwood; four sisters, Nancy Burton, of Ellendale; Trisha Seward & Jean Wileman, of New Castle; and Rose Reichelt, of Lincoln; two brothers, Josh Presley, of Lincoln and Rick Presley, of New Castle; as well as several nieces & nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2015, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, Del. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to Vitas Healthcare, 100 Commerce Dr., Suite 302, Newark, Del 19713. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com
