MILFORD - Ruth Ann Rothermel Bennett, wife of the late Fred A. Bennett, II, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at the Milford Center. She was born Sept. 5, 1919, the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Maloney Rothermel. Ruth was a wonderful Christian homemaker to her family. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Rothermel, Herbert Rothermel, Frank Rothermel, and Martin Rothermel; and sister, Sarah Effinger. She is survived by her children, Marlyn Webb and husband Ronnie, of Greenwood, Fred A. Bennett, III and his wife Kaye, of Milford, and Ella Webb and husband Bruce, of Milford; grandchildren, Shannon Davis, Mark Bennett, Carrie Shockley, Scott Webb, Shelby Rosenquist, Lauren Webb, Elizabeth Spigone and Lindsay Luzier; great-grandchildren, Cole, Allie Mae and Beau Davis, Leighton and Leslie Webb, Skylar, Sutton and Seader Bennett, Haley Pagden and Crown Rosenquist, Isabella, Frankie, Sophia and Lola Spigone, Adelina Luzier, Peyton and Hayden Shockley; and step-great-grandsons, Chase and Cayne Rosenquist; and her siblings, Frances Bennett, Helen Sharp, Marian Keily, Harold Rothermel and Marvin Rothermel, all of Milford. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 at Slaughter Neck United Methodist Church, 23221 Argos Corner Rd, Milford where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Slaughter Neck Cemetery, Argos Corner.
