HARRINGTON - Russell N. Cornwell of Harrington died Monday, March 3, 2014 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late Russell Charles and Julia Cornwell. Mr. Cornwell worked as a glass glazier for over 40 years. Retiring from the Seidman Glass Company in Baltimore, MD. He was a member of the Glaziers Local Union 252 of Philadelphia. When he was not hard at work, Mr. Cornwell enjoyed putting together his model cars. He loved putting together classic car models which he had done since he was a young boy. Fishing was another favorite pastime of his, as well as watching old western movies with his dog Simba. Mr. Cornwell was a family man that loved his family and grandchildren tremendously. He will be truly missed. He is preceeded in death by his daughter Michelle M. Cornwell. Russell is survived by his loving wife, Pamela E. Cornwell of Harrington; sons, Russell Brian (Trina) Cornwell of Myrtle Beach, SC, Sean Nicholas Cornwell of Harrington; daughter, Danielle N. Cornwell of Harrington; sister, Linda (Ersel) Alley of Downs Chapel, DE; two grandchildren; and a special Pop pop to Jahquille Goode. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 10, 2014 at 1 P.M. at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Melvin Funeral Home to help with expenses.
