MAGNOLIA - Rosemary "Rosie" L. Harman, 53, of Magnolia, died at home on June 15, 2009. She is the daughter of the late Chester J. Marvel and Norma Satterfield Marvel of Magnolia. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Ronald Wayne Harman and first husband, Sylvester George Murphy; a daughter, Leigha Harman; and granddaughter, Alisa Lynn Callis. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Tina Marie Legates and Jessica Ann Harman; two sisters, Virginia Grant, Susan Marvel; one brother, Chester J. Marvel, Jr.; three grandsons and one granddaughter and two aunts, several nieces and nephews and special friends. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 18 in the Chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, where friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. for a viewing. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to defray funeral costs. Interment will be Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
