Roseanna Steele, 73

CAMDEN-WYOMING - Roseanna Steele, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2009, in the Delaware Hospice Center after a long battle with cancer. She was 73. She was born March 27, 1936, in Wilmington, daughter of the late John and Catherine (Lutz) Graham. Roseanna was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, going to yard sales and flea markets, and watching Dallas Football. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Raymond "Buddy" Steele Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Raymond Steele Sr.; five children, Sherry McGregor of Camden, Suzanne Tramontana and her husband Jim of Trenton, N.J., Elizabeth Holleger and her husband Craig of Lincoln, Rose Maloney and her husband Clark of Felton, and John Steele and his wife Donna of Delaware, Ohio; a brother, John Graham Jr. of Newark; loving mom mom of Christopher and Brooke Steele, Jeffrey, Brian and Keith Holleger, Melanie and Michael Hoesch, Jonathan and Matthew Maloney, Jeremy, Jennifer and Joseph Tramontana; and 11 great-grandchildren. Service was 2 p.m. Saturday, October 17, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends called one hour earlier. Burial was private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
