Messick, 90 HOUSTON - Rosanna Bowser Messick passed away on Fri., July 3, 2015 at home. Rosanna was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Sernous M. and Pearl (Armour) Messick. She was a florist in the Harrington area for many years. She was a member and Sunday School Teacher at the Houston U.M. Church, a member of the Houston 4-H and decorated and provided flower arrangements for the Del. State Fair. She is survived by her sister, Florence C. Finch of Cape May, N.J.; niece, Deborah Holzknecht; several cousins; and her dog, Taco. Funeral services will be held Thurs., July 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE 19963, where friends may call after 12:00 noon. Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford, DE. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Houston U.M. Church, 235 Broad St., Houston, DE 19954.
