DOVER-Rosalie Passwaters McNatt was reunited with her loving husband Freddie in Heaven on January 26, 2015, after a long courageous battle with lung cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family; her eldest son, Fred, Jr., was holding her hand at the time of her passing in her home. She was born October 26, 1944 in Harrington, DE to the late Harvey H. Passwaters, Ruth E. Smith Passwaters Brown, and step-father Major Brown. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grand- children; she enjoyed long walks on the beach, playing the slots, family gatherings, playing straight 500, and spent many hours reading romance novels. Rosalie was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-three years, Frederick John McNatt Sr.; brothers, Donald Passwaters and Harvey H. Passwaters Jr.; sister, Sandy Passwaters; and daughter-in-law, Virginia Beth Wix McNatt. Rosalie is survived by her three sons who adored her, Frederick John McNatt Jr., Major Wayne McNatt (and wife Kat), and Roy Robert McNatt; grandchildren, John Wayne McNatt (and fiancée Tara Redlich), Lacy Barone, Anthony McNatt, Gavin McNatt, Donavan McNatt, and David Blake; and great-grandchildren, Hannah Barone and Madilin Bodine; and her sisters, Lorraine DeWitt, Loretta Ford, Dolores Wise, Barbara Passwaters, Patricia Bruno, and Marie Jimenez. There will be no services at this time, but a Celebration of Life for both Rosalie and Freddie Sr. will be held at a later date. The family would especially like to thank Seasons Hospice and their Continuous Care Team, Sheila, Donna, Joanie, Janice, Tyeisha and Ashley for their outstanding loving care and support for Rosalie and her family, and a special thanks to her niece, Katie Gearinger for all she did for Rosalie and her family. Memorial Contributions may be made in Rosalie's name to Seasons Hospice, 220 Continental Drive, Newark, DE 19713. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com
