Ron passed away on May 25, 2022 at his home in Greenwood, Del.
He was born on August 30, 1940, son of the late Alice Wood and step-father Willis Wood.
After high school, he continued education at the Univ. of DE. He was a proud American and served in the U.S. Army USATC Infantry stationed at Ft. Jackson, S.C. He had a very diverse career and developed a reputation as a master in the art of negotiating and promoting sales, resulting in winning many awards. He retired as Eastern Regional Director of Sales from Pardo Truck Service, Deptford, N.J.
Ron was well-known in Delaware for his community and civic contributions. More recently, he served as Pres. of Brandywine Park Condos, VP of Williamsville Historical Society, and Co-Chair of Trustees at Houston United Methodist Church. Ron loved to vacation in the Caribbean, work in his yard and go on picnics. He was a devoted husband, and his daughter, son-in-law and three grandsons were the pride and joy of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Williamson) of 57 years; their daughter, K. Michele Maule of Greenwood, Del., and her husband, James Maule; and their three sons, Jared Maule, Cameron Maule and Casey Maule.
