Romona 'Mickey' Wingo Johnson, 44
FELTON - Romona "Mickey" Wingo Johnson, of Felton, passed away Monday, April 6, 2009, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was 44. She was born in Beckley, W.Va., the daughter of Cheryl "Holley" and Carl M. Wingo Sr. Ms. Johnson worked as a waitress for the American Legion in Dover and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved going to the beach and visiting with family and her many friends. Ms. Johnson is survived by her two sons, Bradley Scott Wingo of Harrington, and Brian Michael Wingo, at home; her parents, Cheryl and Mike Wingo Sr. of Marlinton, W.Va.; a sister, Cora Reed and her husband Robert of Frederica; two brothers, Mike Wingo Jr. and Jimmy Wingo and his wife Amber of Pittsboro, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 11, in the chapel of Milford First Baptist Church, 6062 Old Shawnee Road, Milford, where friends may call from 11 to 1 p.m. Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. Contributions in memory of Ms. Johnson may be made to Milford, First Baptist Church, 6062 Old Shawnee Road, Milford, DE 19963.
