HARTLY-Roland Goodwin "Jim Buck" Hay passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 in Kent General Hospital, Dover. Jim Buck was born on January 2, 1929 in Templeville, Maryland, son of the late Louis and Elsie (Harris) Hay. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and later worked for Reichhold Chemical Company as a supervisor. Jim Buck enjoyed working and gardening but most importantly loved being with his family, especially his grandson and great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Ruth Pugh and a brother Homer Hay. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary (Mazcko) Hay; two sons, Gary Hay of Hartly, Terry Hay and his wife Beverly of Harrington; grandson, Kevin Hay and his wife Jessica of Harrington; two great-grandchildren, Mason Hay and Alexiana Hay. Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Nemours/A.I. DuPont Hospital, 1600 Rockland Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803.
