MILLSBORO - Roger Gilbert, of Millsboro, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011. He was 89. He is survived by his wife, Sue Gilbert; children, Maryann Hutton (Tom), William Gilbert (Linda), Barry Gilbert (Beth), Denice Conner (Gary); stepchildren, Rex Evans (Lynn), and Karen Dunham (Thomas); a sister, Louise Gilbert; ten grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren; many friends and extended family members. A funeral service will be noon, Thursday, July 7, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call one hour prior. Friends may also call on Wednesday, July 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor Ed Kuhling will officiate. Interment will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
