CAMBRIDGE — The Emory Jones Foundation presents the “Ties & Tiaras” Daddy-Daughter Dance, on April 18 at the Empowerment Center, with the goal to strengthen families and bridge the gap amongst fathers in our community. This event will also enhance morals and values for our young girls growing up by providing a first date experience with their father figure, and allow them to gain more confidence, self-love, and value for themselves. Founder Emory Jones wants to celebrate fathers and those who play the part. He also wants us to remember that a father is the first man in a daughter’s life.

“Ties & Tiaras” will be hosted by DJ J Reed & Bishop Woolford. There will many surprises that evening for the young girls and their fathers. There will be music by DJ Skyhigh, formal catered meal, dessert bar, gift bags, themed photo booth, and a Daddy-Daughter “dance off.” It will be a Red Carpet event (Grand March) with media and family and friends, and notable community leaders invited. Tickets are $20 a couple and $5 for each additional daughter, and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis with limited availability. For ages 3 through 13.

All proceeds raised will go to The Emory Jones Foundation for future enrichment programs, workshops, and events scheduled for the community.
