Robert Wisniewski

FELTON - Robert "Ski" Wisniewski, of Felton, died peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011. He was 64. Mr. Wisniewski was born Sept. 11, 1947, in Harrisburg, Pa., to the late Anthony and Irene Wisniewski. He played in the Little League World Series for the Bentlyville All Stars at the age of 10. He graduated from Mon Valley Catholic High School in 1965 and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1966 where he served as a Aero Space Ground Equipment Mechanic. A Vietnam Veteran, he retired as SMSgt in 1989. Mr. Wisniewski enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on cars in his spare time. One of his favorite pastimes was racing his "Indirect Connection" Cuda in drag race competitions. He loved NASCAR and Steelers football. Mr. Wisniewski will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Wisniewski is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Fredesvinda Wisniewski of Felton; sons, Tony Pascubillo of Dover, Robert Wisniewski Jr. and his wife Sheri of Florida, Michael Wisniewski and his wife Katie of Magnolia; daughters, Helen Pascubillo-Phillip and her husband Curtis of Magnolia, and Pamela Bennett and her husband Thomas of Louisianna; brothers, Anthony "Sonny" Wisniewski and his wife Carol of Daisytown, Pa., and Jerome Wisniewski of Bentleyville, Pa.; and grandchildren, Curtis and Nickolas Phillip, Robert, III, Seairra, Ella, Patrick and Tate Wisniewski, Benjamin Wisniewski-Bennett, Malaya, Thomas, Jr. and Henry Bennett. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday evening at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
