Robert L. Bamberger, 76 SMYRNA - Robert L. Bamberger, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010, with family at his side. He was 76. He was born August 10, 1933 in Dover, the son of the late Olan and Mary Moore Bamberger. He was a veteran of the Korean War, a community, civic, and church leader. He will be missed. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jacqueline Potter Bamberger; a son, Robert Newnam and wife, Pauline of Smyrna; a daughter, Tracey Stoebe and husband, Jim of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Keiser of Tampa, Fla. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 23, at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rt. 13, Smyrna. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 330, Smyrna, DE 19977. Arrangements are by Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, Smyrna.
