HARTLY - Robert John Meade of Hartly died Sunday May 29, 2011 at home. He was 61. Mr. Meade was born July 19, 1949, in Philadelphia, to the late John Meade and Dorothy George Meade. He had served and retired from the United States Air Force. Mr. Meade worked for several gas stations for many years as a clerk. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, and was a Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. Mr. Meade is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Ann Warrington Meade of Hartly; two sons, Kevin M. Meade and his wife Jennifer and their daughters, Alyssa and Aimee Meade all of Hartly, Timothy S. Meade of Hartly; and his sister, Dorothy Miley of Bensalem, Pa. Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear. Flowers may be sent to the family home.
