Robert Benjamen Torrie, 50 MILFORD - Robert Benjamen Torrie, 50, of Milford, died after a short term illness on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at Delaware Hospice, Milford. Robert was born May 29, 1959, the son of Dorothy Green and the late William Torrie. He owned and operated R.T. Painting. He is survived by his wife Wanda Mae Torrie; his mother, Dorothy Green; a son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Jason Stell; two stepchildren Cameron and Julie Connelly; a sister, Elaine Davydow and her husband Nick; a brother, William Osborne and his wife Paula; two grandchildren, Kyileigh and Tatum; and ten nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 3 p.m., Friday, Nov. 20, at the Milford Moose Lodge, 20142 Beaver Dam Rd, Milford. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Milford Moose Lodge #2316, 20142 Beaver Dam Rd, Milford, DE 19963-4211 to help the family defer funeral expenses.
