OCEAN VIEW - Robert B. Supernaw, Jr., age 80, of Ocean View, DE passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at his home. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Claire (Parks) Supernaw; a son, Roger Supernaw and his wife Christine; a daughter, Sheila Scannell; a sister, Betty Anne Neary and her husband Tom; four grandchildren, Scott, Heidi, Meghan and Conner; a step-grandson, Alden Gerow; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 26, at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Ocean View, where friends and family may call after 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Mariner's Bethel Cemetery, Ocean View.
