Rita Mary Hriczko, 53

MARYDEL, Md. - Rita Mary Hriczko, of Marydel, died Saturday, June 7, 2008. She was 53.

She was born on Oct. 13, 1954, in Long Branch, N.J., to the late Hans and Margaret Lovgren Swensen.

Mrs. Hriczko was an instructional aid for Greensboro Elementary School, retiring due to illness after many years of service.

She was an avid quilter.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, John David Hriczko; one son, Matthew Hriczko of Greensboro; two daughters, Kari Herscher of Castle Rock, Colo., and Amanda Hriczko of Greensboro; three sisters, Edythe Chartier of West Long Branch, N.J., Kiersten Swensen of Chester, and Kari Giorgi of Salisbury; and two grandchildren, Emily and Nathaniel.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro.

Interment will be private.
