MILFORD NECK - Richard W. Lynch, Sr. passed away Sun., Mar. 22, 2015 at home with his family in Greenwood. Richard served in the US Army upon his return home; he became an Independent Contractor. He enjoyed making furniture, gardening and spending time with his family. Richard is survived by his wife of 54 years, Virginia. Richard's pride was his three children, Richard Lynch, Jr. of Greenwood, Keith A. Lynch (deceased) and daughter Laurie K. Richardson in Whitehouse, Tenn.; two grandsons; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson. A memorial service will be on Sat., Mar. 28, 2015 ay 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, where friends may call from Noon to 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163 or Compassionate Care Hospice 28467 DuPont Highway Suite 6, Millsboro, DE 19966.
