Richard W. Faulkner Jr.

Faulkner, Jr., 84 MIDDLETOWN - Richard W. Faulkner, Jr. passed away Saturday Feb. 16, 2013 at Pinnacle Nursing Home. Mr. Faulkner was born July 26, 1928 in Easton, Md. to the late Richard W. Faulkner, Sr. and Henrietta Jones Faulkner. He served in the United States Army for 8 years. Mr. Faulkner worked for Carolina Trailways as a bus driver for 30 years. He was a member of the Church of Nativity in New Castle Delaware where he was Jr. Warden of the church. He enjoyed spending time with family and was a sports enthusiast. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lillie Faulkner of Middletown, Del.; sons, Charles Walters, James Walters and wife, Deborah, Bruce Walters and wife, Cynthia; daughters, Bonnie Gaglia and husband, Paul, Peggy Daffin and husband, Lester, Brenda Stant and husband, David, Billie Comegys and husband, John, Sheila Dill and husband, Daniel; sisters, Betty Hibdon and Lelia Thompson; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Vitas Hospice, 100 Commerce Dr #302, Newark, DE 19713. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com.
