Daniels, Sr., 59 LAKELAND - Richard Lane Daniels, Sr. of Lakeland, Ga. passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 in South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 19, 1953 in Fredericksburg, Va. to the late Alvin & Betty (Bowers) Daniels. He retired after 20 years of service in the United States Air Force as a Tech Sergeant. He was a member of the American Legion and was a Disabled Veteran. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Daniels and a brother, David Daniels. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Daniels, of Lakeland Ga.; a daughter, Michelle Cole of Bruceton, Tenn,; five sons, Richard Daniels, Jr. of Dover, Del., Allen Daniels of Lakeland, Ga., Tyler Daniels of Lakeland, Ga., Brandon Daniels of Lakeland, Ga, David Daniels of Lakeland, Ga; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Bowers of Dover, Del. and Erwin Rodowa of Saskatchewan, Canada; one niece and one nephew. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services in Lakeland, Ga. with burial to follow in Burnt Church Cemetery.
