'Dickie' Kurtz, 64 FELTON - Mr. Richard Harold "Dickie" Kurtz, 64, of Felton, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at his home. Born Nov. 23, 1946, in Pennsylvania, Richard was the son of Albert Kurtz and Susie Cooper Kurtz. He was a compactor technician welder with Waste Management, Georgetown. He was a graduate of North Caroline High School. He loved hunting and fishing, gardening, and repairing his tractor. He was a loving and caring father. He is survived by two sons, Shayne Kurtz and wife Deloros of Hartly, Del., James Clark and wife Tracey of Felton, Del.; two daughters, Niesha R. Burris and husband Gene of Goldsboro, Md., and April Clark of Felton; four brothers, Jackie Kurtz of Henderson, Md., Francis Sedgewick of Delmar, Md., Ronnie Sedgewick of Florida, and Jimmy Sedgewick of Easton, Md.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and his favorite dog, Jake. Funeral service will be at the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W Sunset Ave., Greensboro, on Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at 2 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro. Memorials may be made to: Dickie Kurtz Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 160, Greensboro, MD.
