Thomas DOVER - Richard Edward Thomas passed away on December 19, 2014 at Thomas Jefferson Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 25, 1973 to Edwin Thomas and the late Patricia Thomas. Richard worked in the HVAC field for 18 years. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his sisters, Dawn McElroy and Deborah Barnett. He is survived by his father & step-mother, Edwin and Jane Thomas; his wife of 19 years, Loretta Thomas; a son, Richard (Ricky) Thomas, Jr.; a step-daughter, Amber Jeffers; a sister, Kelly Seth; step-sisters, Shiloh Kramer, Kim McDonald, and Robin Fittipaldi; In-laws, Jerry and Diane Collison and many friends that he considered as family. The family suggests that those attending wear casual attire or if you have a favorite team, sport or nascar driver shirt or jersey. Funeral services will be 12 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Trader Funeral Home. Friends and family may call two hours prior. Interment will be at the Denton Cemetery. The family suggests donations to be made to Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 North 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123 or an organization of your choice.
