Richard E. Newman Sr., 83 GEORGETOWN - Richard E. Newman Sr., 83, of near Georgetown, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at home. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Elizabeth Chambers Newman; a son, Richard E. (Sharon) Newman Jr.; a daughter, Jodie Marie (Edward) Quinn; three stepsons, Raymond F. Chambers Jr., Stephen M. (Joyce Shuster) Chambers, and Dale I. (Sherri) Chambers; a sister, Mabel E. Murray; a nephew, William Newman; seven grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, March 6, at the Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel, New Castle. Friends may call one hour prior the service. Interment with honors will follow service. A memorial service will be 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, March 7, at the American Legion Post 28, Millsboro. Arrangements by Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro.
