OCEAN VIEW - Richard C. Bennett, of Ocean View, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sept. 18, 2011, while spending time with his grandson. He was 64. Born in Chester, Pa., on June 15, 1947, he was the son of Clayton and Ethel Ebeling Bennett, who both survive him. He was the father of two children, Linda Marley and her husband Paul, and a daughter, Donna Lynch who preceded him, passing away in 1997. He was also preceded by four siblings. He is survived by his brother, Lee Bennett and wife Michelle. He has six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several other extended family members and friends. A funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 22, with Pastor Robert Hudson officiating, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro. Friends may call one hour prior for visitation and viewing.
