Richard A. 'Dickie' Hill, 54 READING, Pa. - Richard A."Dickie" Hill, 54, of Reading, passed away Thursday, June 17, in Reading Hospital shortly after his arrival. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Thomas and Rosie Lee (Fitzpatrick) Hill. For 25 years, he worked as a self employed handy man. He is survived by a son, Craig Hines, Reading; two daughters, Tonda Butcher, Delaware; and Evelyn N. Stern (Dee), Reading; two brothers, Ronald Hill of Millsboro, Del., and Loyd, husband of JoAnn Rowell, Reading; and one sister, Rosemarie, wife of Dave Williams, Smyrna, Del.; and sister-in-law, Cynthia, wife of the late Henry Rowell, Townsend, Del. Richard was also survived by, six grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Rowell; and a sister, Delores Hill; and a granddaughter, Alexis Hines. Services will be Thursday, June 24, at 11 a.m. in the Henninger Funeral Home Inc., 229 N. 5th St., Reading, PA 19601. Friends may call from 8 a.m. until time of service.
