GREENSBORO, Md. - Rev. Bruce Oliver Lecates, 69, of Greensboro, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, in Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Lecates; three daughters, Dawn Owens and husband George, Becci Wood and husband John, Marilyn Searcey and husband Robert; one brother, Kenneth Lecates; two sisters, Lois Twilley, and Carolyn Parks; and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Gertrude Robinson Lecates of Delmar.
Services will be 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 27, at Denton Wesleyan Camp, The Tabernacle, Denton, where a visitation will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Interment will be private.
Memorials may be sent to Bruce Lecates Memorial Scholarship for Ministerial Student, c/o 1841 Generals Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
