Residential burglary reported in Dover

Posted

DOVER — An unknown suspect or suspects were being sought Monday following a residential burglary Thursday.

Officers were called to Brittingham Drive at 2:39 p.m. for an alarm and found that a window had been broken at the home.

An investigation revealed that one or more suspects forced entry into the residence by breaking the window and, once inside, stole various items before leaving, Dover police spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said. There was no suspect information Monday.

Police asked anyone with information to call 302-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted via Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or delaware.crimestoppersweb.com; a cash reward is possible for information leading to an arrest.
