REHOBOTH BEACH — With workshops beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, organizers of the Rehoboth Beach Pride Festival promise a celebration of love and inclusivity.
The gathering — taking place at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, 229 Rehoboth Ave. — is an opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community to discuss important topics. Offering a variety of activities and talks, participants can address issues such as aging or addressing intimate partner violence in the LGBTQ+ population. There will also be a panel featuring LGBTQ+ faith leaders.
Additionally, more than 40 vendors will be exhibiting at the festival, and there will be live performances, a photo exhibit of the Rehoboth Beach LGBTQ+ community, health screenings, giveaways and more.
