SALISBURY, Md. — Registration is open for Salisbury University’s 2022 Summer Enrichment Academies.
Each academy, open to elementary, middle and/or high school students, lasts at least five days, and they include various topics taught by university faculty and industry experts. They are mostly held on the main campus, with all-you-care-to-eat lunches at The Commons dining hall.
Academies include:
- Philosophy (high school) — 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 27-July 1 ($40).
- STEM (middle school) — 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 27-July 1 ($40).
- Slime (first-eighth grade) — 1-5 p.m. June 27-July 1 or July 11-15 at SU Art Galleries Downtown ($175).
- Theatre Tech (ages 12-18) — 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 6-8 and 11-15 ($500).
- Musical Theatre and Voice (middle and high school) — 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 11-15 ($300).
- Entrepreneurship (middle and high school) — 9 a.m. to noon July 11-15 ($300).
- All About Health: Your Heart and Muscles and Mind (middle school) — 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 11-15 ($175).
- TOLI Holocaust (educators only) — 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 18-22 ($300).
- Comics (first-eighth grades) — 1-5 p.m. July 18-22 or Aug. 1-5 at SU Art Galleries Downtown ($175).
- Eastern Shore Writing Project’s Young Writers Workshop (first-sixth grades and seventh-12th grades) — 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 25-29 (no cost).
- Tie Dye (first-eighth grades) — 1-5 p.m. July 25-29 at SU Art Galleries Downtown ($175).
- Tie Dye (eighth-12th grades) — 1-5 p.m. Aug. 8-12 at SU Art Galleries Downtown ($175).
- Rising High School Seniors, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 1-5 (no cost).
- Live Action Film Camp (fifth-ninth grades), 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 1-5 ($175).
- Multimedia Storytelling Project (fifth-ninth grades), 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 8-12 ($300).
- Sprouting Success for Migrant Students (kindergarten through fifth grade), 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 8-12; and Cultivating the Roots of the Migrant Student (sixth-12th grades), 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 8-12 (no cost).
