GREENWOOD - Regina Hudson, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, died Friday, October 2, 2009. She was 83. Mrs. Hudson was born March 25, 1926, in Spring Valley, N.Y., to the late John Banovic and Carla Muller Banovic. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and collecting. Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her brother and sister. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard James Hudson of Greenwood; son, Gary Hudson and his wife Karen of Frederica; two daughters, Nancy Kress and her husband John of St. Helena, Calif., and Patrice Couts and her husband Bill of St. Augistine, Fla.; and grandchildren, Timothy and Diana Hudson, Lydia, Rebecca, and Michael Lynch, Rhiana Powell, Sarah Altamar, Amber Leverone and Sean Clingerman. Services will be private. Arrangements by Torbert Funeral Chapels, Dover. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
