Tisher, 64 ELLENDALE - Rebecca S. "Becky" Tisher of Ellendale passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at the age of 64. Rebecca, who preferred to go by Becky, grew up in Milton. She graduated from Milton High School in 1968. She loved cooking and spending time with her family. Becky is well known for her work as deli and cafeteria manager at the King Cole Company Store in Milton. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Becky was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Brittingham Wyatt; her father, Preston Brittingham; and her brother, Lloyd Brittingham. She is survived by her husband, James Tisher Jr.; her brother, Preston Willard Brittingham; her sister, Linda Brittingham Hudson; her son and his wife, Jeffrey Mark Tisher and Tammy Tisher; her daughter, Tara Tisher; and her three grandchildren, Courtney Tisher, Justin Tisher and Rebecca Gerhard. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
