Raymond Earl Price, 70 OKATIE, S.C. - Raymond Earl Price, 70, of Okatie, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, in the Coastal Carolina Medical Center, Hardeeville, S.C. He was born in Morgantown, W.Va., on Aug. 6, 1939. He was the son of the late Herbert and Pearl Flowers Price. He was a retired Executive with Montgomery Ward Company. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the Sun City Veterans Club. He was a member of the Church of The Palms; sang in the choir and was an adult education chairman. He is survived by his wife, Mary H. Price of Okatie; two sons, Raymond E. (Linda) Price Jr. of Frederica, Del., and David (Kristina) Price of Georgetown, Del.; one stepson, Eric Peterson of Millsboro, Del.; two daughters, Deborah Price of Woodbridge, Va., and Cynthia (Steve) Banack of Magnolia, Del.; one brother, Curtis J. (Bonnie) Price of Fairmont, Ga.; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at the Church of The Palms United Methodist, Okatie, S.C., with burial at 1:30 p.m. in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, S.C. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church. The family request memorial donations be made to the Church of The Palms United Methodist, P.O. Box 2807, Bluffton, SC 29910. Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, S.C., is assisting the family with their arrangements. (www.saulsfh.com)
