Raymond Alexander Jacobson

Jacobson SELBYVILLE - Raymond Alexander Jacobson, "Jake," of Selbyville, passed away on Feb. 17, 2012, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Md. Born on Sept. 29, 1938, he was the son of the late Alexander and Flora Mae Butts Jakubowski. He was a retired line technician at Proctor and Gamble. He was also a veteran of the US Navy. He was a member of the American Legion Post 28, Loyal Order of Moose, and the Elks Lodge in Ocean City. He loved fishing, boating and music. Jake was a people person, outgoing and gregarious, he always loved to laugh and joke around. In addition to his parents, Jake was preceded by his wife, Mary "Penny" Schell Jacobson. He is survived by his step-son, Roger Falsis of Hampstead, Md.; his brothers, Leonard and Albert; and twelve nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister-in-law and special friend, Janet Weisman. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bernard; and sisters, Anna Mae, and Helen. He was also preceded by one nephew. A committal ceremony will be held in the Chapel of the Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, in Millsboro, on Friday, March 2, at 1 p.m. with the conferring of Military Honors. Rev.
