DOVER - Randolph Nelson Sturgis, Sr., 50, of Dover, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at Delaware Hospice, Milford. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of Mary Jane Parker Sturgis of Selbyville and the late Clemon Sturgis Sr. He was employed by ILC of Dover. In addition to his mother, memories will be cherished by his wife, Evelyn Sturgis of Dover; two sons, Randolph N. Sturgis Jr. of Bear and Jermaine R. (Krystal) Sturgis of Frankford; one daughter, Tylisha C. Sturgis of Columbus, Ohio; one stepson, Jesse Wright of Milford; one stepdaughter, April Abdul-Rasheed; three brothers, Ricky Lee (Patricia) Sturgis of Frankford, Leon Ayres of Selbyville, and Clemon Sturgis, Jr. of Georgetown; four sisters, Thelma Parker of Salisbury, Darlene (Richard) Ames of Frankford, Mamie (Wallace) Handy of Laurel, and Kathy (Cardale) Church of Ocean View; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends. Mr. Sturgis will lie in repose on Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, from 11 a.m. to noon at Antioch A.M.E. Church in Frankford. The funeral service will begin at noon. Interment will be in the Town of Blades Cemetery in Blades. A ministry of comfort and dignity is being provided by the Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, PA in Salisbury.
