Ralph Stephen Bateman III

Ralph Stephen Bateman, III, 53 Millington, MD - Ralph Stephen Bateman, III, of Bateman Farms, Inc., passed away on Monday, April 5, 2010, at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Born in Elkton, MD on April 13, 1956, he was the son of Mary S. Bateman of Bear, Del. and the late Ralph G. Bateman. He was an engineer and farmer. Mr. Bateman loved life and enjoyed the great outdoors including hunting, fishing, water skiing, boating and his ATV's. He loved the land and especially Spry Landing Farm which he turned into a hunting mecca. Mr. Bateman was also known for his generosity. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his dear sister, Brenda Linton and her husband, Brian; nieces Ashley, Madelynn and Brittany; and a nephew, Joshua Linton. He is also survived by his fiancée, Robin Fox. Services were held privately. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Chester River Association, 100 N.
