HARRINGTON - Ralph Ray Harrington, 86, of Harrington, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at Milford Center, Genesis Eldercare. Mr. Harrington was the son of the late Ralph C. and Frances A. (Goodley) Harrington. He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving during W.W.II. Ralph then went to work for Eastern Stainless Steel in Baltimore, Md., for many years before retiring. He enjoyed gardening and loved to go fishing in his spare time. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude R. Harrington. He is survived by his sister, Janet Harrington, of Harrington; two step daughters, Grace DiBattista and Helen Manley, both of Baltimore; 14 grandchildren and nephews, Earl Harrington of Harbeson, and William Harrington of Florida. Services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce Street, Harrington, where friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Milford - Harrington Highway, Harrington.
