Public portal allows comment on Delaware State Police
By DOVER - A public portal is available to provide comment on the Delaware State Police as part of an accreditation process.
The portal is available through the Delaware State Police Facebook page and online at dsp.delaware.gov/newsroom.
The portal is part of a review by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies. Its purpose is to provide the public with the opportunity to leave comments, commendations, and other information regarding the agency’s quality of service or other information relevant to the accreditation process, a news release.
The overall intent of the accreditation process is to provide the participating agency with information to support continuous improvement, as well as foster the pursuit of professional excellence.
The commission is not is not an investigatory body and subsequently the public portal should not be used to submit information for such purposes.
Additionally, there will be no response other than acknowledgment to submissions; however, the information will be considered in context to its relevancy to compliance with standards and the tenets of commission accreditation.
