Police: No injuries reported in Dover shooting incident

DOVER — No injuries were reported in a shooting incident Thursday, Dover Police said.

Spokesperson Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid investigation began at 2:01 p.m. with a call for shots fired in the 200 block of Charring Cross Drive. Officers responded and located several spent shell casings in the area and found a vehicle had been damaged by gunfire.

There are no leads to release at this time, police said.

Police asked anyone with information to call 302-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delaware.crimestoppersweb.com ; a cash reward is possible for information leading to an arrest.
