Police identify 3-year-old victim in fatal hit-and-run collision in Camden

CAMDEN — The Delaware State Police have identified Kasai Bull, 3, of Dover, as the boy who died in a hit-and-run collision Tuesday.

Police said the child was struck by a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado while running across South State Street at 4:04 p.m. Police said the Silverado did not stop and the driver, an 18-year-old Smyrna man, left the scene of the collision.

Authorities said the Silverado driver was contacted by patrol troopers and detectives in Smyrna.

The Troop 3 Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this incident. Troopers ask anyone who witnessed the collision to contact Master Cpl. J. Lane by calling 302-698-8457. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
