Philip E. Woodall, 64 TOWNSEND - Philip E. Woodall, 64, of Townsend, died July 18, 2008, in Christiana Hospital, Newark, surrounded by his family. Mr. Woodall was born Nov. 25, 1943, in Chestertown, Md., and raised in Galena, son of the late S. Richard Woodall Sr. and Mattie Phillips Woodall. He was a 1961 graduate of Galena (Md.) High School and a member of their high school band. Philip's career began in 1969 with DuPont-Glasgow site as a laboratory technician and has been there continuously with Dade Behring and currently Siemens. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Middletown, the Galena Alumni Band, the Middletown High School Band boosters, enjoyed bowling, tennis and supporting Middletown Cavaliers athletics. Philip is survived by his wife of 40 years, Louise "Lucie" Schultz Woodall; two sons and their spouses, Kevin and Cheri Woodall and Jeffrey and Colleen Woodall, all of Townsend; a granddaughter, Tara Woodall; seven siblings, Betty Woodall of Chestertown, S. Richard Woodall of Solomon's Island, Md., Martha Woodall, Corrine W. Dill and Joseph Woodall, all of Galena, Joan Woodall of Newark and Marie Signorino of Ellicott City, Md.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Dennis Roman Catholic Church, 153 N. Main St., Galena. Burial in Galena Cemetery. Memorials may be offered to St. Joseph's Building Fund or the Galena V.F.C., c/o the funeral home.
