Peter M. Fearn

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - Peter M. Fearn, 74, of North Fort Myers, formerly of Newark, Del., passed away Nov. 12, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife Brandy Marie, two sons; Wayne (Cheryl), and Kenneth (Ann) of Delaware; a grandson, Nicholas also of Delaware; two sisters, Pauline Martin and Hazel Lamaina both of New Jersey; three step-children, Jacqueline (George) Farley of Florida, Daniel Gray of West Virginia, and Ed Nesmith of Delaware. He was predeceased by his parents. Mr. Fearn served in the Army Airborne 101st Division and 509 P I R. He became a naturalized U.S. Citizen in 1974. Mr. Fearn retired from General Motors assembly Division in Wilmington, Del., in 1996. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, The Elks, and the Mooseheart Lodge. He was an avid golfer and a big Redskins fan. A memorial service will be held in celebration of his life at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 21, at the Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce Street, Smyrna. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in his name to Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Pkwy, Cape Coral, FL 33903.
