As the proposed reconciliation budget cuts decimate Medicaid rolls over the proposed 10 years, clinics and other underfunded services, like nursing facilities and hospitals, may have to cut staff, services or close. The entire health care community is impacted. One in 4 Delawareans depend on Medicaid as primary or supplemental insurance.
Is this really what the electorate wanted?
“We the People” and a government that “promote(s) the general Welfare” should not be empty words in our Constitution.
