Peggy Joyce Minner

HARRINGTON - Peggy Joyce Minner, generous and devoted mother and grandmother passed away in her home on July 29, 2009, after a long battle with illness. She was born on Oct. 25, 1938, in Dover, daughter of the late John and Hilda (Dagg) Donovan. Peggy was a graduate of Delaware Tech with a business degree and later worked at ILC, Dover. Peggy owned and operated a daycare and retired at the age of 62. She enjoyed dining out, traveling, shopping, collecting beanie babies and snow babies, playing pool and going to the slots. In her earlier years, she was an avid bowler. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Thomas L. Minner, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Fullmore of Harrington, Vickie L. McCole and her husband Courtland Rash of Milford, Lisa Spence and her husband W. Tommy of Milford, and Lorraine Hall and her husband Ricky of Harrington; a brother, Wayne L. Donovan of Felton; grandchildren, Frank Fullmore of Harrington, Jonathan McCole of Milford, Paige Spence, Taylor Spence of Milford, Kelly Goode and her husband Clint of Milford, Lori Slater of Harrington, the father of her children Norman W. Beebe of Milford; eight additional grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren of Georgia; and step-daughter, Victoria Thanos and her husband Ted and their children Christopher and Alexandra of Maryland. Services were Sunday, Aug. 2 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Burial followed in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
