Peggy Ann Beegle

Peggy Ann Beegle, 70 DOVER - Peggy Ann Beegle, 70, of Dover, passed away Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, in the Delaware Hospice Center. She was born on April 27, 1939, in Easton, Pa., daughter of the late Elber and Kathryn (Rickert) Swinson. Peggy had worked for Quality Control Rheichold Chemical and also drove a school bus for Cool's Bus Service for the Caesar Rodney School district. She and her husband owned and operated P & B Janitorial, Dover, for 20 years. She enjoyed going to the slots, and was an Orioles and Redskins fan. She was a member of the Fresh Air Fund. Peggy is survived by her husband of 43 years, William Beegle; a daughter, Brenda Rutherford and her husband Jerry of Wyoming; a son, Mark Sneckenburg of Columbus, Ohio; two step daughters, Sherri Picone and her husband Daniel of Harrington, and Kim Eads of Harrington; four grandchildren, Rebecca, Kyle, Veronica, and Eric; three step-grandchildren, Daniell, Ryan, and Stephanie; and a brother, Elber Swinson, Jr. and his wife Phyillis of Bethlehem, Pa. Services will be 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to S.P.C.A., 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934; or Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
