Peggy A. Case

NEWARK - Peggy A. Case passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017.
Born in Greenwood on Jan. 27, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Arthur D. and Kathryn (Sammons) Laughery. Peggy was a talented homemaker, who devoted her life to caring for her family.
Active in her community, Peggy was a longtime member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church and did volunteer work for Meals on Wheels and the Hope Dining Room. Peggy enjoyed sewing, reading and completing jigsaw puzzles. She had a huge heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Ronald B. Case; children, Karen C. Holman (Matthew) of Sarasota, Fla. and Blair B. Case of Newark; sister, Loretta Downes of Lewes; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday morning, Nov. 3, 2017, at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 525 Polly Drummond Hill Road, Newark, where a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a reception at the church. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peggy's name to Ebenezer United Methodist Church at the address listed above.
