SMYRNA - Pauline Wheeler, of Smyrna, DE passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Heartland Hospice House in Wilmington with her loving family by her side after a long battle with cancer. Mrs. Wheeler was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Anna Deputy and a brother, Howard Clifton Deputy. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Norman F. Wheeler; and her two children, Patricia Connell Foreman and her husband, John, of Potomac, Md., and Howard Scott Connell and his wife, Kimberley of Limestone Hills, Wilmington, Del.; a sister, Phyllis Blanchfield of St. Georges, Del.; five grandchildren, Renee Cohee and her husband, James, of Dover, Jorge Delgado of Auburn College, Ala., Courtney, Chelsea and Ashley Connell of University of DE; one great-grandson, Wesley Cohee; three nieces and their families; two nephews and their families, as well as many dear friends. Friends may visit with Pauline's family on Monday evening, May 23 from 6-8 p.m. at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad Street in Middletown. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, May 24 at Ewell's St. Paul United Methodist Church, 401 West Street in Clayton, DE.
